As I get more and more into the ‘know’ about how our modern lifestyles of convenience and high stress affect us in unwanted ways, I realize that we do have control over all aspects of our lives. We don’t have to succumb to ‘it’s just the way it is’ thinking. We don’t have to do things just because that’s what we are being shown ‘everyone’ is doing so I have to too.
Have you considered natural options for safer cleaning products? They are every bit as effective without the toxic exposure.
We have so many wonderful natural options to choose from but we’ve had our attention diverted by very smart and sneaky marketing groups that convince us, quite well I may add, that chemicals are better and will make our lives easier. However, this is not the case.
What nature has provided us not only works very well at cleaning up our spaces to a spotless shine, it doesn’t harm our bodies either. If we can take a huge step back and observe what is really going on….the direction in which the entire human race is heading….it’s to severe ill health. Instead of continually throwing money at a problem to cover the symptoms we should try to look at what the underlying causes are and eliminate those.
The so called ‘progress’ using chemicals, plastics, processed ‘fast’ foods, etc. has lead us in a great direction when it comes to earning money and giving the appearance of convenience. But fast forward 30 years in a persons life. Now they are on medications, getting cancer treatments, have to carry an oxygen tank around, are bed bound or wheelchair bound. Does that sound like convenience? Does barely having the energy to lift your head off your pillow sound like progress?
OK, off my soap box now and on to solutions!
I want to encourage you to look at how you keep your house clean and what products you use on your body. Read the labels and look up the side effects these chemicals are KNOWN to have on the human body. Each chemical has a side affect. However, there is no data on how these chemical combinations affect the body. That data is in the beginning stages of being collected and the results are quite clear. It’s vital that we change what we are going and go back to nature.
Here are some ways to get you started:
Norwex is a great product for easy cleaning without the use of any chemicals. Simple water or vinegar solutions work great. You also will get the benefit of reduce paper towel and napkin use. I’ve been using these products for several years and really like their towels, tooth brushes, and floor cleaning system.
Certified Pure Therapeutic grade essential oils are another product I highly recommend. I love to use the lemon oil with my cleaning products to really cut the sticky stuff. Put a few drops on a label stuck on your new plate and it will scrape off without any residue.
The only brand this pure does not like to be advertised anywhere except by word of mouth because they have made a commitment with the FDA to not make any written claims until they have scientific proof. They have now gained the confidences of hospitals and are being asked to perform studies that are turning out to be quite stunning to all proving that nature knows best. Please contact me if you’d like to know more about the safest, purest form of essential oils to use so as to not add anything other than the therapeutic parts of the oils in and around your body.
