I want to share with you the WONDERFUL healing power of green juices!
At syncRAWnicity, we believe in following the laws of Nature. We support your body’s ability to heal itself by consuming plants, which contain the power of the sun, in a liquid form that cancer/dis-ease absolutely cannot tolerate. We call green juice, “Liquid Sunshine.”
At the end of this article, you’ll find the recipe for our “Chlorophyll Sunshine” green juice. The ingredients we choose are nutrient dense tools that our bodies recognize and use to heal damage, remove toxic build up, and regenerate cells.
We use 2 cucumbers because they are rich in potassium, which is the primary electrolyte in our cells. Cucumbers help control fluid balance in and outside of our cells. We have sodium-potassium pumps in our cell walls, which control the intake of nutrients and the excretion of metabolic wastes. When these pumps are not functioning properly it can lead to problematic imbalances, including cancer cell overgrowth. Potassium is also critical in transmitting electrical energy throughout our nervous system.
We use 10 stalks of celery because it is an excellent source of organic sodium that your body can use effectively. Sodium is important because it is the primary electrolyte outside of our cells. In America, people often consider salt a bad ingredient. But all salt is not created equal. Most salt, like table salt, is filtered, bleached, and processed, which renders it unhealthy and virtually unusable by our bodies. Unrefined salts like Celtic salt, Himalayan Pink crystal salt, and Hawaiian Black salt retain their healthy minerals and are beneficial to our systems. The sodium in celery works with the potassium in our cellular pumps, transmits electrical energy through our nervous systems, and is essential to maintaining blood pressure.
We use 1 bunch of kale because it is overall one of the most nutritious foods that is (typically) available. Kale is rich in chlorophyll, which is a valuable blood purifier an enhances oxygen transport around the body. Kale delivers high doses of usable iron to our bodies. There are commercial cereals that actually use iron shavings and say that they are fortified with iron, but our bodies cannot recognize or use it.
Kale is rich in magnesium, which supports the nervous system and regulates the sodium-potassium pumps in our cell walls. Magnesium is needed in over 300 different processes the body performs. It is the catalyst of life! Kale provides high doses of calcium, then the magnesium is vital for our bones to absorb the calcium, and it also provides necessary B and C vitamins.
A lesser-known benefit of kale is its incredible protein content. Kale contains over 40% protein by dry weight! In fact, ALL leafy greens and vegetables are good sources of protein our body can use. To learn more about the best sources of protein for the human body read America’s Mantra: Protein.
We use 1 bunch of dandelion greens because they are a natural potassium diuretic that flushes water without stripping potassium from the body. They also stimulate the kidneys to release toxins from the body more quickly. The mannitol that the roots and leaves produce in the spring strengthens the heart and help treat hypertension. Dandelion is also rich in chlorophyll, mildly detoxifying to the liver, and improves liver and gallbladder function. Gently helping the liver detoxify is very important when dealing with imbalances that have led to cancer cell overgrowth.
We use a handful of collard greens, which is another chlorophyll and nutrient-rich green vegetable. The darker the greens, the more chlorophyll they contain, so the darker the better! Collards contain lots of magnesium, iron, and vitamins C, A, and K.
We use a few stalks of parsley because it is high in iron, calcium, and magnesium and contains three times the vitamin C of an orange. Among other benefits, vitamin C can quadruple our absorption of iron from vegetable sources.
We use 1 thumb-sized piece of burdock root to support phase-2 liver detoxification (toxins are bound to other molecules, packaged in a non-toxic form and readied for excretion). Burdock root also stimulates bile flow from the liver and gallbladder. Bile is necessary for fat digestion and neutralizing the acid contents of our stomach. Without this chemical modification the strong acids of the stomach can damage the delicate intestinal tract, compromise absorption of all nutrients, and lead to ulceration of the first part of the small intestine (duodenum). It is very important to keep your intestine healthy, as nowadays a lot of medical conditions can end up in surgery. Ostomy bag belt can be of great help for those who are going through healing after surgery.
We use a small knob (1 inch) of ginger, which is a wonderful circulatory stimulant that eases the delivery of all nutrients to our cells, by way of the bloodstream. Ginger helps reduce inflammation all over the body, thins the blood, and reduces risk of blood clots.
We use 1 lemon because it is a wonderful source of vitamin C. Vitamin C is important for immunity and collagen tissue formation. The pith (white part beneath the skin) of lemons is rich in bioflavonoids that enhance the absorption and activity of vitamin C. The organic acids in lemons alkalize the body, which in turn allows the body to release toxins from lymphatic tissues, dissolves plastic residues built up in tissues, and creates an unfriendly environment for pathogens like cancer cells. Lemons are also rich in many B vitamins, are a great source of potassium and calcium, and add an enjoyable tangy taste to our juice recipe.
We use six green apples for their sweet flavor. Apples are a good source of vitamin C and pectin, which is a fruit fiber that slows sugar absorption. They do not have a high glycemic effect on the pancreas, allowing it to heal instead of overworking from eating heavily processed nutrient deficient foods.
Pears can also be used instead of the green apples. Pears are also a good source of vitamin C and pectin. Pears often have a lower glycemic index than green apples, despite often tasting sweeter. It is important to keep sweets as low glycemic as possible because sugar is the primary energy source for cancer cells. Cancer cells can only make 2 energy packets (ATP) per glucose molecule while healthy cells make 38 ATP per glucose molecule. The cancer cells gobble up all the glucose they can to get their fill leaving the rest of the healthy cells very little to work with.
Tomato and basil are optional green juice ingredients. Tomatoes are a good source of vitamins A, C and E. Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant that helps protect cell membranes from free radical damage. They also contain lycopene, which is another valuable antioxidant shown to be effective in cardiovascular health and protective against many chronic illnesses. Basil is a good source of protein, vitamins E, C, and B complex. It is a good source of calcium, magnesium, iron, potassium and zinc. Zinc is important for our immune, reproductive, and many of our enzyme systems. Zinc will actually render pathogens unable to reproduce thus shortening their negative effects on our body.
This unbeatable green juice formula provides specific cleansing and detoxification protocols that will allow your body to focus its energy on clearing toxic build up, repairing damage, and regenerating healthy tissue.
Offer your body these tools and you will have the power of Nature behind you. You will become healthier and more “dis-ease” resistant. Remember, the “cure” lies within. You have the power!
To your health!
