Today is a beautiful sunny day here at the McDowell Mountain Regional Park in sunny Arizona.
How does it look out your window? Do you have a window to look out of? Or are you in a cubicle work situation? Or maybe out your window it’s gloomy and overcast?
These situations can contribute to difficulty with feeling good. One of my favorite classes to teach is on the topic of the ‘mood matrix’ and how to use natural solutions to help you manage any distressing mood. Today I’d like to go over some tips and tricks to help you manage your moods with natural solutions.
How are you feeling today?
I’d like to review block one (upper left quadrant) of the Mood Matrix. Anger and Impatience are a very common emotional group in our society. When we push through these feelings, stuffing the Anger and Impatience, or maybe over expressing it because we have stuffed it too many times, these actions can lead to feeling fatigued and lack of peace. They also can manifest as physical symptoms such as stomachache or headache.
The first thing we need to do is identify the feeling(s). Next, go to a private place and turn it up. Turn up the volume on the feelings! I know this sounds counterintuitive but turning up the volume will actually help us get clear on what’s causing it in the first place. This may seem like it couldn’t make a difference but when we put it into practice we end up with a different story. It may be that we can’t avoid the situation causing these feeling immediately or an immediate solution isn’t evident right away. This is where mood management with natural solutions can come into play.
Using tools to help us create better feeling chemistry in our bodies can not only shift the uncomfortable feelings but also sets up better “reaction” habits for the body. Dr. Candice Pert wrote an important book called, “Molecules of Emotion.” She explains how we can become habituated to “expect” certain situations to happen that result in specific chemistry being released into the body to support that situation. We live in an overly dramatic society that can train us to also expect a lot of drama. We can use our own body’s chemistry to feel good as much as possible.
An important documentary to watch is, “What the Bleep Do We Know?” We can see this drama happening as the documentary takes you through different situations that show us we do have more control than we realize. For now I want to share that using simple tools like breathing exercises and specific natural medicinals, such as Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade essential oils, can provide relief very quickly.
One that is especially effective to help us balance anger and impatience, as well as combat fatigue and relieve lack of peace, is a beautiful blend of high quality oils called Serenity. Using this blend, by putting 2 drops in one hand and rubbing the hands together briskly a few times then cupping your hands close to your nose and taking deep breaths, can help you recompose yourself for that upcoming meeting or calm you down after a confrontation. The only side effects are more feelings of peace and relaxation.
As you can see you will receive the benefits of breathing exercises as well as support from nature. This is critical for the lifestyles we are leading in this fast paced world!
Looking forward to sharing more ideas with you as you share your feelings with me! 😉
I hope your day is filled with Natural Solutions
to support your goals and lifestyle!
Bliss-ings to you!
