When you think of going outside what is the first thing that pops into your mind? “Oh my hair is going to get messed up” or “I wonder how long I can peddle before my energy gives out?” Do you worry about getting dirty or about having enough time to clean up?
For me, I LOVE LOVE LOVE to play outside. I feel like a kid again. It feels SO good. I grew up on the swim team, climbing trees, and building forts outside. I lived to be outside. When I discovered I liked to race bikes I really found a great way to get outdoors even as an adult. We can slip into the excuses that plague most adults like, I have to work, I have to do this or that. When we can convince ourselves to even take 10 minutes to go outside we will snap out of the illusion and feel the exhilaration that is our necessary connection to nature. Make it a bonus and put your bare feet on the earth and grass!
It’s really as easy as making any decision. Just make 10 minutes of space by getting up 10 minutes earlier or taking a couple minutes less here and there throughout the day. Just decide you are going to make room for it……room for yourself. Counter to much of what we are taught by society, it is ok and very necessary to take care of yourself. Make sure you are in top functioning order so you can give your best when helping others. Serving others gives us great joy so it stands to reason that we need to take the time to care for ourselves. If we take a few minutes each day the effect will be cumulative. Over time you will feel the difference. You will see the difference as well as you watch people you know follow the traditional ways getting old before their time while you continue to reverse in age until to reach the actual age you are suppose to be inside and out.
From what I’ve seen, if I continue to eat healthy and get outside for exercise, when I’m 70 years old I will look like I am just getting to a young 50. Take a look at some of these people who have chosen to care for themselves naturally:
If you live where it can get really hot, like I do here in Phoenix Arizona, then you might want to prepare with doTerra Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade essential oils.
